Dr. Heather Fulton uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness-based approaches to help you reach your goals. She is also trained in Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT)/Invitation to Change approaches to help people supporting a loved one who uses substances.

Dr. Heather Fulton is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry, and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology, at the University of British Columbia. In addition to her private practice she works at Royal Columbian Hospital where she trains and supervises Resident Psychiatrists in Psychotherapy. She regularly provides consultation and training services to private and non-profit organizations on the topics of mental health and substance use.
